sibylle baier

Sibylle Baier's Colour Green is a collection of private recordings she made from 1970 to 1973 on reel-to-reel tape recordings at her home in Germany. The actress-singer's son compiled the music on a CD to give to family members as presents. But, once Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis heard the CD, he passed it along to the Orange Twin label, which released the album in 2006. Quite lovely.

you're ghostin' us
After recently watching Predator, this video is a painful delight. Watching Sgt. Mac Eliot do this throughout the film made me more uncomfortable than when the Predator's face was revealed. Ouch
P.S. This is the same guy who brought you this.

Ronald Chevalier

Science fiction writers meet Napoleon Dynamite's director Jared Hess and Flight of the Conchord's Jemaine Clement = hurry up and come out already! Gentlemen Broncos looks hilarious, which is why I'm looking forward to its October 30 release. Until then, you can visit the official site, or check out Dr. Ronald Chevalier's site.

don't mess with the bull

In addition to directing the movies above, he also wrote them and others such as Some Kind of Wonderful, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, The Great Outdoors, Mr. Mom and many more... Growing up, John Hughes was to movies as Morrissey was to music to me. Come to think of it, I probably first heard The Smiths watching Pretty In Pink. RIP
