The Valerie Project has been out since November 2007, but I've recently been listening to it again after purchasing the album over the weekend. Basically, it was created by a group of Philadelphia musicians, including members of Espers, Fern Knight, Fursaxa, Woodwose, Timesbold and Grass. The musicians created a new soundtrack for the movie Valerie and Her Week of Wonders, a 1970 Czech film based on the 1945 book of the same name. The result is lovely, and the group has actually toured and played the music live before a large screen of the movie playing. The movie is now in my Netflix queue.4/20/09

I bought this cd and just watched the movie! weird... good stuff though.
