release the kraken

It's true. A remake of Clash of the Titans is in the makes. The battle of Perseus versus Medusa and the Kraken to save Princess Andromeda started production in late April. It's set to release March 26, 2010.

Here is the lineup:

Danny Huston - Poseidon

Liam Neeson - Zeus

Sam Worthington - Perseus

Ralph Fiennes - Hades

Alexa Davalos - Andromeda

Originally, Hades - the ruler of the underworld - was not a player, but it appears he may be a similar character as Calibos - the son of the patron goddess of the sea. There's also going to be a new character called "Draco," who will be played by Mads Mikkelsen. I wonder who Bubo will be?
